Haven’t been feeling the urge to blog recently but just recalled something.

AUNTIES ROCK SO MUCH!

Saturday while I was on the train back home after squash and there was this bunch of juvenile teens whom seemed to think that they were extremely hip and cool? They were blasting the whole cabin with their Sony Ericson Walkman phone. So loud that I could hardly hear what was playing on my MP3!

THEN! As the train was approaching Jurong East, there was this auntie who braved out and confronted that bunch of annoying youth! Saying, “ni men kai zhe yang da shen, ting bu dao ta zai bao shen me leh!” pointing, referring to the broadcast announcement and giving them a pissed off look. And that bunch of kids showed a buay song and bo bian look, gave in and muted their phone.

OMG! That scene is like engraved into my brain la!

Not only that incident.

Remember those pesky promoters who kept leeching on to you even when you have already settled on what you want!? Have no fear! Cause aunties are here! =D

My MOM aka auntie shut that irritating milk promoter with just one sentence!

Scenario: I was helping my mom to get that ABC brand then XYZ brand’s promoter interrupted saying XYZ got vitamin blah blah blah and it’s also same as ABC 2 for the same price! I was like okay… and turned to my mom. My dad was clever! He was just standing there pretending to be looking at something else! =P Then that promoter continued with her never-ending story. And my expression was like hmmmm hor hur hokay until my mom butt in saying’ “but ABC brand got free gift leh!” That promoter’s face was like Justice Bao’s and said ok lor. I swear I heard that promoter saying a very buay song ok lor! =X

That random act of my mom was absolutely auntie-ish but man!!!! Somehow it just worked effectively zipping that promoter’s mouth! Else I most probably will be standing there for like half an hour to about forty-five minutes listen to that granny story! =X

Anyways… This week is E-Learning Week but this isn’t holiday… it’s just staying at home to do assessments that are more than the usual weekly load plus going back to school for FYP! =(

Oh but on my way to school this morning when I got out of the elevator, I saw this little black and white kitten hiding behind the bike. I seemed to have frightened it but it’s cute! =D This is the exact same kitten which I saw a couple of times happily running among the grass and weeds, playing by itself while I was walking back home at night.

And I also saw this bunch of army guy patrolling the MRT station with this humongous golden retriever! Whoa! This was the first time I see a dog in the station! It’s damn cute la! And its fur was like glowing! =X Point of information, I don’t normally say golden retrievers are cute but this particular one is really cute! =P

To end, I would like to reemphasize that AUNTIES ROCK SO MUCH! Especially my MOM!! =DD
