WHEEEE!!! I did a good deed this afternoon!

Alright this is how the situation went…

I was waiting for my xiao long bao to be served and this angmoh ordered some beef rice noodle thingy. He wanted to take away and the china guy didn’t understand the angmoh and kept hand signaling five dollars. I was about to speak for the angmoh when the china guy diverted his attention to me and followed by the angmoh. Then I go ‘oh, ta yao da bao.’ And the china guy went murmuring to himself and his mates. The angmoh and I burst out laughing and he asked me how to say take away in Chinese. Blah blah blah… funny funny funny. =P
